Dr. Michael Gaitonde graduated from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June of 2000. An avid traveler, he began his career in Australia as an associate doctor. In September of 2002, Dr. Michael returned to the United States and opened Lighthouse Chiropractic.
At Lighthouse Chiropractic, Dr. Michael’s focus is complete family wellness. Using spinal adjustments combined with massage therapy, reflexology, exercise and nutrition, he has found success with some of the most challenging cases. Dr. Michael has successfully treated children suffering from colic, ear infections, acid reflux, ADHD and sensory disorders. In adults, regular chiropractic adjustments have lowered high blood pressure, helped to manage depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue and sleep disorders. Dr. Michael believes in the chiropractic philosophy that removing the cause of the problem enables the body to heal itself and fully function.
Dr. Michael’s specialty is pediatrics and pregnant women, however he sees patients of all ages. He is certified in the Webster Technique, a specific chiropractic adjustment for pregnant mothers. This technique is designed to relieve the causes of intrauterine constraint and allows babies to get into the best possible position for birth.
Along with working as a family wellness chiropractor, Dr. Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and their three children. Each year, he and his family travel to Honduras to share the love of Christ and provide healing to those who are hurting. Dr. Michael’s vision is to combine his passion for chiropractic with his passion for missions and take chiropractic care to countries around the world.
